FAQs

Where should we meet our guide?

Your booking confirmation will include the starting location for your tour, along with an address and information to help you find your guide. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your tour—we begin walking at our scheduled start time!
The starting location for private group tours or scavenger hunts can be tailored to each group's plans, and will be communicated to the organizer during booking.

Where do I park?

Princeton offers a variety of metered street parking and garage options. Visit the Municipality of Princeton's parking page for more information. Princeton University also offers free parking to the public at several garages on weekends, and on weekdays after 4 p.m. Learn more by clicking to their visitor parking map.

How long are the tours?

Our public, weekend walking tours and our guided scavenger hunts run for 90 minutes. The duration of private tours can vary, depending on the group's needs.

What is the route like?

Our "All About Princeton" walking tour includes downtown Princeton and the Princeton University campus, for a route approximately 1.25 miles. While the route may include curbs, steps, and staircases, it is largely flat; however, our pace is lively—we've got a LOT to say!

What should I bring, and what about bathrooms?

Come dressed for the weather: sunscreen, hats, extra layers—you decide what you need—but comfortable walking shoes are a must! There are bathrooms at our starting location, but not on our route.

Does my child need their own ticket?

Yes; we require a ticket for every person joining our tour. Our guides are great with kids, but our stories (and our witty jokes) are more likely to click with kids ages 6+.

What's the cancellation policy?

All tickets may be rebooked free of charge up to 48 hours of the scheduled date! Tickets may be cancelled 48 hours before the start of the tour for a full refund. Refunds will not be given if requested on the day of the scheduled tour. We'll walk, rain or shine, but in the event of extreme weather, the organizer will be in contact; if tours are cancelled by the organizer, all tickets will be refunded.
